ABOUT PETE
Pete Burdon is the founder and head trainer of Media Training NZ. He is a former daily newspaper reporter and high-profile government press secretary.
This puts him in the unique position of having worked on both sides of the media interaction. That not only means he knows exactly what the media want in their positive stories, but also how to convince reporters, producers and editors to publish and broadcast material that can massively boost profiles and reputations.
Pete moved into media training because he saw a major disconnect between the news media and their potential story sources. He saw so many business people and experts miss massive opportunities to generate media coverage that could move them to the next level overnight. He now shows them how to leverage those opportunities.
Pete offers both online and face-to-face training and is a regular keynote speaker at conferences and other sector events.
